Product Description

Lightweight gel

Gives moisture and cool feeling. Contains witch hazel to help the product to permeate into skin without causing irritation.

It keeps skin moisturized by forming a moisture barrier on the skin, minimizing moisture loss.

Calming effect

Snail slime extract and EGF are effective for calming skin problems.

Contains mucin

Mucin, an ingredient from snail mucous keeps moisture of the skin and protects the skin from harmful materials, and chondroitin sulfates are effective to improve skin.

EGF (epithelial cell growth factor) is discovered by biologist, Standley Cohen from U.S. It is a type of protein that is formulated in the body as it promotes formation of new cell combining with the acceptor on the skin surface.

Packaging

Snail + EGF repairing gel cream comes in a jar, same as the cream ones. It doesn’t have a spatula so it’s kind of unhygienic.

Texture & Fragrance

It has a gel like texture. It glides easily and absorbs well when applied on the skin. Like most Korean products, it has a perfumed scent.

Application

As the last step of basic skincare in morning and evening, evenly apply it onto the skin. Gently pat it on skin. When you use it as a sleeping pack, apply more sufficient amount and massage your skin. This can give better results.

My Impression

This is a definitely not a product for my face. It gave me horrible rashes all over my face. I don’t know why, but I may have allergy reactions towards the product.

The texture is actually kinda thick and creamy. It has the distinguished tea tree scent that most of The body Shop Tea Tree range have.

Application

Apply to a cleansed and toned face and neck before bed, to work overnight whilst you sleep.
Tips: Cleanse beforehand with Tea Tree Oil & Tea Tree Skin Clearing Foaming Cleanser or Tea Tree Cleansing Wipes and follow with Tea Tree Skin Clearing Toner to tone.
Apply Tea Tree Blemish Gel to blemishes.

My Impression

Even though it has a thick and creamy texture, thank goodness it didn’t break me out. The smells is great and a pea-sized pump is enough for 1 use. It’s a great moisturizer, since it moisturizes my combination skin well. It also controls shine. It don't see any fading of blemished, but it does a great job hydrating my sensitive skin.

The product contains mild beads that are not rough on skin. It smells really refreshing and has a mild scent of tea tree oil. It gets foamy when rubbed.

Application

Squeeze an appropriate amount onto fingertips and apply to damp skin.
Massage lightly in small circular movements across the face and neck, avoiding the eye area.
Rinse thoroughly and pat dry with a soft towel.
Use a 2- 3 times a week.

My Impression

This product is amazing. It does leave my skin soft and clean. It doesn’t clear out whiteheads though. I love the scent which is really refreshing and it lasted me for almost a year. Thankfully it didn’t break me out. It does help in calming the skin and reducing breakout. It also leaves my skin oil free.

My Impression

Great product! So far this is the best moisturizer for my combination skin. My face don't get much oily when I use The Body Shop Tea Tree Skin Clearing Lotion. It also reduces acne. It smells refreshing and absorbs really fast into skin. It also provide cooling effect on my skin. Its just kinda expensive.
